In an evolving world, emerging research continues to highlight concerns that could impact everyday wellbeing. Here’s the key update you should know about:
Salman Khan in Legal Trouble:
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is facing legal issues after a complaint against him for a brand advertisement. A consumer court in Kota (Rajasthan) has issued notices to him and the manufacturer of the product, following allegations that the advertisement is misleading.

The complaint was filed by senior BJP leader and advocate Inder Mohan Singh Honey. He alleges that the company for which Khan is a brand ambassador claimed the product contained “saffron‑infused cardamom” and “saffron‑infused pan masala”. He argues this is implausible, noting that saffron costs nearly ₹4 lakh per kilogram and cannot realistically be used in a product priced at around ₹5.

The petitioner also argued that such promotional claims may encourage young people to consume the product — “pan masala” — which has been linked to health risks including oral cancer. He emphasised the responsibility of celebrities like Khan as role models. The court has given a chance to the actor and the company to respond, as the next hearing is scheduled for November 27, 2025.
Neither Salman Khan nor the brand has publicly commented in detail on the matter yet. The case raises questions about the ethics of celebrity endorsements, especially when the product involves health or regulatory issues. We are waiting for a word from the teams of the actor and brand.
